Question:
More moisturisers
I posted a couple of days ago about foundations and as i've always used cheapies ( i've been a student and thought that there wouldn't be much difference anyway) i'm not sure about what to get now i've decided I want some better products.
I bought some lancome foundation and found it to be the best one i've used so far, so a good moisturiser is next on my list. I'm considering a few and wondered if any of you could tell me what you thought?
* Lancome Aquafusion (i've been given a sample of this but i'm not sure if its moisturising enough)
* Clinique Superdefence (looks good for winter)
*Liz Earle Skin Repair (i've read good things about it on here)
I've been using e45 on my face lately, so i'm used to something really heavy- I might need to get used to something lighter.
If there's a good one that isn't on my list feel free to tell me :) It all seems like a bit of a minefield!
What skin type do you have?
You could have a look on www.makeupalley.com and browse productville there to see what a lot of others have thought on the products your intrested in,
my favourite moisteriser is Paulas Choice moister balance, for normal / combo skin, it really makes a big differnce to my skin

According to the woman at the lancome counter i'm normal/combination. I think she's probably right, although the cold weather and central heating has made make my skin feel very tight in places recently.
After years and years of trial and error for my problem skin (both dry and spotty) I stumbled upon oil of olay 7 signs with blemish care. I know its not very glamourous but I really rate the whole range... and I'm the sort of person who would rather spend £35 on a moisturiser that works perfectly than a tenner on one that works well... iygwim. I've tried all the high end brands but this moisturiser (at £19.99) does the job for me. Quite like the fact that its anti-aging too, although thats not really why I buy it (I'm 26).
Anyhoo, of course my priority is a moisturiser that hydrates but doesnt block pores... but I would recommend checking out the whole range to see what suits you. Unfortunately it can be a case of trying hundreds before finding your HG moisturiser, and even when you find one you like it sometimes takes a few weeks of daily use for it to show its true colours (ie pore blocking, sensitivities etc etc) so my advice: try and get hold of as many samples as you can!
