Question:
Wax with no strips?!
I have just been looking on boots website to find a bikini wax.
I have used veet mini strips before and find they dont do anything, so was going to try and use hot wax? Maybe, although Im quite a woos! :cmdunno:
Im fed up of stubble and find veet hair remover isnt sufficient enough either.
I found a product on boots called
Smooth Appeal Bikini Hair Remover Wax for £5.49!
HOWEVER - It's simply wax, it doesnt involve strips, you peel it off!?
THE DESCRIPTION FOR THOSE WHO WISH 2 READ IT
bikini hair remover wax
The finest natural ingredients combine with soothing Aloe Vera and calming Tea Tree to create a skin sensitive, low temperature wax. It's easy to use. Simply apply to the skin, allow it to set slightly, then peel off. No strips are required. Hair is removed completely, leaving no stubble or shadow, just soft, smooth skin for up to 6 weeks. New hair growth will appear finer too, and should visibly reduce with repeated treatments.
Smooth Appeal's Microwave Formula wax moulds perfectly with the curves of the bikini area and is effective against the strongest hair. A G-string is included to help define the waxing area and to save own from wax contact.
Each pot contains sufficient wax for up to 10 bikini treatments.
HAS ANYONE TRIED THIS? RECCOMEND IT? THINK IT SOUNDS GOOD?
Any other ones they would suggest?
I've had this done and i've done it myself.
Its good for bikini but as you can only do small patches, about 3"x1", its no use for legs as it would take far too long. Its too hard to do under your arms as its nearly impossible to pull the dried wax in the right direction.
a good tip is to put loads of talc on the area before you apply the wax and then put talc on the top of the wax pressing down until you feel it cool and pull it swiftly off.
I hope thats helped. :D
Redblond - Does this stuff hurt any more than actual waxing?

Was about too ask the same! I thought it was the painfree option but am now thinking differently!
Its a lot less painful yeah especially when the lovely girl in teh beauty salon up the road does it. it takes longer cos you have to go over areas and that can be ouchy cos its heat on already tender areas (read: inner tiddy and bum bits).
I got a strip wax done last time after hot wax for 6 months and while it was a lot faster, i was a bit more tender afterwards. I dont know which one lasts longer but my bikini hasnt grown much since the last wax because i've been using some skindoctor spray that all the girls on here MADE my buy !!!! :D
