Question:
Whats your winter skin?
How is your skin in winter and what do you do to keep it looking soft & healthy? :D
I use Dermalogica products all year round and they seem to do the trick. I mix my moisturiser with sunscreen in the summer, but I use moisturiser alone in the winter and just apply slightly more. I keep flakes at bay with Microfoliant.
I have combination skin all year round but I definately notice the drier bits (cheeks / forehead) definately get drier and my problem chin & nose (oily) seem worse as well.
I've found clinique redness releif good for building my skins protection against sensitivity but its £65 a tub :cmeek: so I tried Nivea visage calming day cream and i've been very impressed - it keeps my cheeks & forehead moisturised and doesn't add to the oil on my nose & chin :)
My combination skin really dries out (probably more normal than dry). It can start to look really dull and grey, so I have to remember to exfoliate regularly. I'm always careful with scarves near my chin, as they can sometimes break me out.
Probably the least tempermental time of year for me though, skin wise :D
