Question:
Best Mascara
Now then baggers, I fancy buying a really good, new mascara. Have used middle of the range things, like l'oreal etc and they've been ok, but now I feel like really treating myself to a nice one, don't mind spending a bit more money if it's a top product.
My eyes are quite sensitive so I would need something not too strong. In terms of what it does I'm looking for lengthening mostly.
Hope you can help! Thanks :) :)
Hi Bunnekins,
A lot of the girls on here rate Dior Show (think it's about £18 a pop). I've tried it and found it so-so. I'm currently using the Max Factor Masterpiece mascara in black/brown. After initially thinking it's cack I think I've now mastered the art of applying it and it's pretty good. For other high end mascaras, how about YSL False Effect ? Prescriptives Falsh lash effect is also pretty good.....A lot of people like Lancome mascaras but all they ever seem to do on me is clump.
Hopt that helps.

I've just read some RAVE reviews about blinc kiss me mascara, it works in a different way to other mascaras and really does stay put all day-apparantly. It's pricey though-about £16.50
Thanks both for your suggestions. I used to use lancome definicils years ago, but can't have found it that fab coz I stopped using it.... I bought dior show for a friend and she likes it, but I think it's maybe not as fab as she's hoped, I really liked the colour though, it's a very lovely brown.
I might check out prescriptives, have never tried any of their stuff.
:)
I've looked on the YSL website for the false lash effect mascara but I cannot find it. Is it under a different name or something?
As to good mascaras I have used, Diorshow was fantastic at first but it dries out pretty quickly & now goes all clumpy. :( For a cheap fix Boots 17 Flex-Curl is great, I got it in a set for Xmas & didn't think it would be any good but it is! Bourjois Pump Up the Volume is also good for volume & lift.
Sorry for hijacking the thread a bit!
