Waxing - what to do?
Eeek, please help!
I was feeling really proud of myself... This lunchtime I booked an appointment at a beauty salon for an eyebrow shape and a full wax; legs, underarms and bikini.
I've never set foot in a beauty salon before and was really apprehensive as I thought the staff would look at me as if I were a tramp and make me feel really self-concious. I had to swallow my fears however as two weeks today I'm getting married in the Carribean! :yay:
Fortunately the lady was really nice and down to earth, she was very helpful and approachable. I was concerned that I'd left it too late for a wax as I had been told that it can take a while to settle down but was advised that 48 hours would be fine. So, I booked myself in for Thursday afternoon. (We leave on Sunday).
But.... I've just remembered that I'm out on Saturday night, it's my fiance's birthday party. Doh! I had planned to have a leisurely bath and shave but I don't know if I should now? Should I leave my hair to grow? What's the best thing to do? I want the wax to work well but I don't want to go out on Saturday night looking like a yeti!
Panic!
If you shaved now, there probably won't be enough re-growth by Thursday. I would wait until next Thursday and wear trousers this weekend.
