Question:
Anti-ageing pillow case
OK well not quite! But I was reading at the weekend how apparently regular cotton pillowcases aren't great for your skin as they can drag it and also dry it out.
Supposedly it's better to have a silk or satin one. Has anyone actually tried this?
I'm thinking about investigating as I sleep on my front which I don't imagine is very good for my face!
am also interested in this!
mind you i use a memoryfoam pillow so my face cant really move once i am in position

Er, that doesn't sound very comfortable!
I've read this before as well. Apparantely the trauma of a rougher pillowcase rubbing against your skin everynight causes it to breakdown easier and makes it easier for wrinkles/fine lines to form. Don't know if it's true but I do remember sleeping on one of those satiny/girly cushions I had on my bed for the next few nights. I've no idea if it would make a difference if you were to do it all the time. :)
I've also heard that silk pillows are better for your hair. I wonder where you can get them from...
