Question:
help with buying ysl touch eclat
I'm buying this for my sister but have never bought it before so can someone help.
First of all - is this the right thing?

Second of all I don't know what the shades mean, my sister will want the palest shade, is this shade 1?

Yep, that's the right thing rachel. I'm not sure about the colour as I didn't even know they had different shades. I think the last time I had some they only did it in one shade. I would be pretty sure the first shade is the palest though. I think you should be ok with that. If you're still not sure would it be possible to compromise and go for the middle shade just incase. There's probably not too much difference and at least then if it does work the other way round you'll end up with the middle shade instead of the darkest. Also when you give it to your sister, if she hasn't used it before. I would warn her to wash the brush applicater bit out after using it. Alot of people complain about their touche eclat going off easily and developing an awful smell. I've thrown a half full tube away because of this. The last tube I had did the exact same thing. A bagger recommended washing out the applicater though. After doing this I discovered it's the old fluid collecting on the brush that's going off and causing the smell. Just thought I'd warn you to save your sister throwing out a perfectly good product if the same thing happens.

Almost everyone I know that uses this needs shade 1. I'm a shade 2 girl but I have dark Mediterranean complexion. I've got to say thats a bloomin good price- I may have to stock up;)
