Counter make-overs
Question:

Counter make-overs
  Evening all.
I'm getting pretty bored with my look at the moment - seriously considering chopping all my hair off, and starting to make more of an effort with my appearance again (have been fairly ill lately so ashamed to say it sometimes falls by the wayside :o ).
Anyway, I'm thinking of going for one of those make overs at a counter to try and get a bit of inspiration...just wondering if you have to pay/are under obligation to buy etc.
I have a benefit counter near me, but I do rather like MAC make up and have thought about getting one done when I'm next in Leeds.
Also, do you have to book?
Cheers.

Answers:

Space NK do them for free and have lovely make up.
Best to call and book and double check its free
Trish McEvoy charge but its a really good make up lesson too.

Answers:

You usually have to book the MAC ones and it's £20 which is redemmed against any products you purchase afterwards.
They get VERY busy in the run-up to xmas btw.
If it's really quiet you may get lucky and have a mini one done, but I doubt you'll get the whole she-bang! Perhaps your eyes or summat!

Answers:

You've GOT to go to MAC!
Like Melody said unless it's really quiet you'd have to book an appointment but it's completely worth it. I had one done for my 18th birthday and still use many of the products recommended today :great:

Answers:

You have to pay £20 just to get your eyes done?! That's a bit ridiculous.
I wouldn't mind paying if I actually got my whole face done for that!
Cat, was yours just eyes/lips/whatever?
