Cosmetic Surgeon recommendation?
Question:

Cosmetic Surgeon recommendation?
  Hi folks,
Apologies if this isn't the right place to post.... I wasn't sure. I usually lurk on Weddings.
I am planning on a cosmetic surgery procedure that I've wanted most of my life. I have the support of my partner and parents and think that now is the time ot look into it and find the best surgeon.
That's where I'm hoping you guys could help! Does anyone know of the best cosmetic surgeon around the Hampshire/Surrey/London area?
Thanks in advance....

It depends what procedure you are having done. Different surgeons specialise in different things. I'd advise you to go with a Bupa surgeon though. They are all very well qualified.

I was going to post a similar thread, Muzz, because I've been looking for a surgeon as well and there are so many I didn't know where to start. Have you tried www.cosmeticsurgeryconsultants.co.uk to help you find a surgeon? I made an enquiry today and I'm hoping to hear back from them. Then there are also the obvious clinics such as Transform and Harley Medical Group and I assume they would choose the best surgeon for the procedure you are interested in. I was also looking at Bupa as glitter ball suggested and Inhance who are part of BMI.
I've had one consultation with a surgeon which I had to pay for and I was really disappointed with him to be honest. I was expecting a better service but I was left wishing I hadn't bothered. I can provide more details via PM if you like.
Any baggers out there who have had cosmetic surgery able to offer some tips?

I rec Edward Latimer-Sayer... what a wonderful man!
He is very honest anout what is and isn't possible, his portfolio is amazing. He doesn't advertise with 'back-of-magasine' adds, as he doesn't need to, he has quite a waiting list. He is also the man who is chairman, I think, of the European aesthetic cosmetic surgeons as well as being FRCS qualified. If you google him, his website should come up.
He is also the man who did Syndy Jackson's surgery. Her website is very good too, she talks about the dangers of surgery having been through some herself(not with Edward though).
Mr Edward Latimer-Sayer is going to fix my nose :)
BTW, he charges £50 for a consultation, but won't charge for further consultations if you wish to go back for more if you are uncertain about anything.

Oh forgot to add, he does consultations around the London area, I went for a consultation in Newforest though. he performs surgery at two Hospitals in London. he told me which one was cheapest to go to, yet I get the same surgeon...
