Question:
Orly recommendations
I'm running low on my OPI nail stuff so considering switching to Orly. I remember using and loving one their nail strengthener in abroad a few years ago but cannot for the life of me remember which one it was exactly so I'm looking for some reccs for base, top coat and a Nail Envy replacement. There's too much choice so I need help makiing my mind up.
Thanks :D
Hi Loony :)
My HG base coat has to be Orly Bonder. It gives a rubbery finish that your polish will adhere to, so you don't get chipping or flaking. It works very well for me :)
I also quite like In A Snap which is a quick drying top coat. You paint a coat on top of everything else and it dries through all the polish coats within 5 minutes. I love these types of top coats, they make manicures a breeze and so much quicker to do. I actually prefer Seche Vite to Orly though. They have a HG quick drying top coat and the base coat is about on a par with the Bonder.
I've tried Orly Top 2 Bottom which is top and base in one but it was just alright really. I like Orly Tough Cookie (don't know if maybe that's the one you tried abroad) but it's one of those products I use every now and then so I have never got through my bottle to try many other alternatives.
Hope that helps!
Thank you, that's brilliant! I couldn't decide between Sec n Dry and Won't Chip but I might go for Seche Vite then.
Will definitely get Bonder, I noticed that it got some good reviews on MUA as well.
I love Orly - I swear by the Bonder base coat, and their Wont Chip top coat is my all time fave:) Orly polishes are much more hard wearing than OPI too.
Thanks, Bonder it is then :D
I use Chanel polish because I like the colours (I only own and wear about 3 different ones) and I'm so indecisive at the moment I couldn't start picking new colours, particularly over the internet :o
