Shu Umera
Question:

Shu Umera
  Hi baggers
Was it me or did I read someone say on a thread fairly recently that they'd got their Shu Umera eyelash curlers via Harrods/HN in London?
The dilemma I have is that I'm off to London on Saturday and can get them there....however they have 24ct gold curlers and case - as well as black nickel curlers and case on their website for $30.
What would you do? Wait and get the posh ones or just get the regular ones from HN/Harrods (whichever it was!)?
Thanks
BB

Answers:

curlers
You know what....I don't see the point of gold plated, etc. They all do the same job. the Shu Uemura are the best ones in the world - gold...silver...whatever. It's whatever you can afford.

You do know they do not make refills for the eyelash curlers?
You get one refill with them when you buy and after that you have to buy the complete thing again. Shu believe the curlers should be replaced every six months.

Answers:

I've had mine for 2 years, use them everyday and not even had to replace the original pad.....theylast forever. I only ever use them on dry lashes, NEVER on mascara and I clean them every few days with brush cleaner....perfect. They are such a good quality product, I've never known anyone having to replace them...with normal use (ie:not a make up artist etc.)
Oh yes, & they appear on Ebay from time to time - cheaper then retail...just make sure you don't fall for the Chinese copies (they tend to come from Chinese sellers in Shanghai or HK), which are inferior
