Question:
OMG! Found my HG mascara!
Well I'm off sick yesterday &today with nasty cold/flu:ill:, and nipped into town yesterday to buy a new mascara (as you do when you're at death's door), thought the fresh air would do me good but ended up caught in 'orrible thunderstorm and ended up looking like a drowned rat.
Anyway, I digress...
Was umming & ahingin Boots for effing ages, to replace my Rimmel Turbo Boost, Extreme Black, do I get the L'Oreal Telescopic, the Bourjois Volume one, or Max Factor Masterpeice, or what?
Then my eye falls on the Maybelline stand, and they've brought out a new mascara which promises 5 x volume or some such guff. So I thought, ah sod it, it's a cheap promo offer, only £3 or so. Got the waterproof one.
So this morning I feel better enough to make my corpse-like face and Rudolph red nose look normal again, trowel on the concealer, curled my lashes quickly, and whacked on the new mascara - oh my god! This stuff is amazing! I look just like a mascara advert, with impossibly long lashes, and not clumpy or anything! I am in :throb: with this mascara!
I may still feel like a lukewarm turd, but at least my eyes look stunning!! :whoop:

My holy grail mascara was always great lash, but they changed the formula recently and its not cack :(
I saw the ads for this new one on the telly so as you recommend it so highly I might give it a whirl ;)
What's this one called? *says she, who got Lancome Fatale a couple of days ago* ;)

1 Attachment(s) Erm.... it is Maybelline Volum' Express Turbo Boost, black stubby tube, and the waterproof one has a silver lid, not a black one.
And hopefully the wonders of modern technology will enable me to show you what it looks like - naturally please excuse me looking rougher than rough, but hey, I feel as bad as I look!
OK, so the picture isn't all that clear, but believe me, in real life, my eyes are now amazing!

ETA: Forgot to ask, are your lashes naturally quite long & thick or has this mascara transformed them?! :D
