Compact foundation
Question:

Compact foundation
Hi, I am contemplating buying a cream compact foundation (not the powder one) but am wondering if it would be too heavy and drying for my skin. Or are the cream ones lighter. I have used the powder ones and found them drying. Do the cream ones still have powder in them and are they too cloggy?

Answers:

the diorskin compact looks like powder but when its applied it is very moisturising and doesnt cake at all - also lasts a while! i use it on top of my foundation instead of concealer as its such good coverage without the caking
its one of my HG products!

I use TBS compact foundation. I used to use Virgin Vie but I'm totally converted. I have to wear it for work anyway but I still wear my maybelline mascara when I'm not working ;), BUT my Virgin Vie has been discarded completely.
It's gorgeous, BUT my cheeks do get a little dry. I have found though that if I put a little of my heavier moisturiser on the bits that get dry, it is fine :D

Fairy Poppins, isn't the Body Shop compact a powdery one though? My skin is very dry and flaky so am wondering if it will accenturate this?

Yeah it is :( Sorry I'm not reading properly :o
I've never seen a creamy one in a compact, and tbh, I would think you'd always be better off with a liquid if you have very dry skin.
