Concealer help
Im thinking thats its about time I got myself a decent concealer. Never used one before, so I was wondering if any could tell me, do I apply my concealor before my foundation and how much lighter should it be compared to the foundation?
Thanks in advance x

I think you should be matching both your concealer and your foundation to your skin so ideally they would both be the same colour?
I always apply concealer first cos I like the finish of foundation/powder on top but some people say you should put concealer on after foundation cos then you can tell what needs concealing. It's up to you which you prefer.
I've been using MAC's studio finish for a couple of weeks now, it's really good :)

It depends what you want to conceal. For undreye circles, the temptation may be to go for the lightest concealer, but white circles under the eyes look just as odd as blue ones  so pick a concealer that's a shade darker than what you'd normally get for underyes. As for spots and blemishes, it's really a question of not overdoing it.
As far as order goes, I'm pretty much a traditionalist: Moisturiser, foundation, concealer, and a little powder to set. Using concealer then foundation means that you rub the concealer off and end up using more! :)

I tend to be of the school of thought that your concealer should match your skin tone, so would be the same as your foundation.
I tend to put my foundation on first, then use my concealer to *touch up* any nasty areas that I can still see.
I then set those areas with a little powder.
I use No7 concealer in a wand, it's like the Clinique one but much more reasonable I think :)
