Question:
Best Loose Powder?
Hiya
It's been suggested I swap my pressed powder for a loose once, since the pressed powders contain oil (by their very nature the oil keeps the powder compressed), which isn't too good for my skin.
Can anyone recommend a good brand (ideally, I'd want a translucent one).
Thanks

Hi Squidgy,
I used to use the MAC Select Loose powder which was really good. It's jet milled apparently and goes onto your face really lightly and just sets your make up nice....However I thought the price was a bit steep for the size of jar ( about £23 if I remember correctly) so I shopped around for an alternative.
I ended up buying Chanel Poudre Libre Universelle and it's brilliant. You get a really good sized jar (30g - I think the MAC one is only about 15g) and for £22.50 I think it's a better buy.....
Hope this helps

I second the MAC recommendation and there's Cornsilk as well which is fairly cheap
The NARS loose powder is lovely and the shades are vcery natural looking. Its good value for money too as mine has lasted me two years so far!
Corn silk - cheap and really good.
