Question:
Help- make up on ebay not as stated
Looking for some advice on this one. I bought a lip gloss on e bay. Chekced out the ad brand new in box the seller already had this colour. 100 % positive feedback, no bidders without positive history etc. Sounded great, won auction paid by payl pal that day. After 9 days had received nothhing s e mailed seller, replied saying she was selling for someone else and it should have been posted but I would receive by Thurs. It arrived Friday, no box and the lip gloss top is sticky so looks like it has been rested or used.
I have e mailed the seller withh all this info, as the item does not seem as advertised.
I really like the colour but feel really misled by description, selling for someone else so blurb was rubbish, and the long wait
What would you do?
Thanks Im quite new to this and have never left bad feedback, but this has just been a hassle, chasing up ,e mails and the fact the seller made such a big deal about must have 10 positive feedbacks to bid see my 100% postive feedback and she doesnt even have the item she supposedly has a double of.
Thanks
I would email them and politely state that your unhappy that it is not brand new in box & seems to have been tested and you would like a refund thank you very much.
If they wont go for it, then leave negative or neutral feedback. People can be quite good about these things. Someone sold me a bag once that was supposed to be in 'great vintage condition' - it was wrecked. They refunded me the money & told me to keep the bag, which I binned as it was manky.
Good luck!
