Question:
Help me choose a foundation
I am currently using Dermalogica's Treatment foundation and when I run out I might try something else. I have had no problems with it, but fancy a change!
As Dermalogica make skincare, do you think maybe their foundations are created with more care so that they do not clog pores?
I have tried foundations from Clinique, Max Factor, L'Oreal etc, but would feel a bit wary going back to a makeup brand's foundation, just incase it messes with my skin...
What are your opinions on makeup brand foundations and skincare brand foundations? Do you think one is better than the other?
Are there certain ingredients that clog pores in foundations?
Please help as I am confused!!
I always have a problem with foundation as my skin is very fair. I seem to panic when I have to go and buy it as the consultants at department stores seem to think that I'd love to look like a satsuma. I have found a couple of brands most suitable for my skin as I also have dry skin. "Estee Lauder Lucidity" light diffusing makeup is nice. It has a SPF8. "Origins" make a gorgeous one. Its called "Next Of Skin". This has a SPF15. I've never had any problem with these foundations. My skin always looks naturally glowing with these. If I'm feeling flush with money, then I treat myself to " Prescriptives Custom Blend" which matches your skin exactly. It looks like your own skin but better.
