Question:
spots! Something is working.
I've had spots under the skin on my cheeks and jawline for about a year now. They seem to hang around forever and never come to anything.
I have sensitive skin thats neither oily or dry.
6 weeks ago I started using dermalogica ultra calming cleanser, soothing protection spray and active moist and barrier repair.
Have also tried Diannette which did nothing I've now swapped to Yasmin (3 weeks now).
My skin suddenly seems to be clearing .I don't know which it is but something is working and I'm so happy!
As soon as I swapped to Yasmin my skin cleared up SO much so maybe its that? :)
This is why I changed to Yasmin years ago - I read somewhere that it helped problem skin and it seems to have kept the big painful spots at bay. I also read that it is the most expensive pill to prescribe and doctors will try and sway you to try something else.
i changed from dianette to yasmin about 3 months ago. i was quite worried i might get spots again cos the dianette literally was a miracle worker for my skin.
so far so good though so hopefully my skin will remain lovely and clear.
i'm glad other ppl are having success with yasmin too. :)

It's about £12 a packet compared to £2.50 for microgynon, or something along those lines
My doc has never made an issue out of prescribing it for me - microgynon gave me awful acne, dianette didn't do anything and yasmin seems to be working ok. I've been on it for nearly 2 years and while I still get spots, I don't get really bad ones or major breakouts. I'm as yet undecided if this is due to having been on roaccutane or just yasmin, but either way it's good :)
