Question:
Best type of cleanser for oily skin?
Hi everyone
I was wondering what your opinions are on the best type of cleanser for very oily skin. A lot of the cleansers aimed at oily skin really strip the oil leaving the skin feeling dry and then causing it to produce even more oil :(
Is a cleanser aimed at sensitive skin better for oily skin you think?
I have no idea what to go for ... foaming, or milk ? So many different things to consider.
What products do you ladies with oily skin have luck with?
charley
Oily Skin - What works for me!
Hi
I have oily skin too and find most specialist cleansers are too harsh and leave my skin dry and prone to blemishes, annoyingly.
I prefer wash-off cleansers as I feel much cleaner and fresher, and I'm using a fab product called Aknestop, from a Czech range called Ryor (a friend's au pair recommended it to me!). Its algae based, really gentle and neutral but cleans deep down. I also use it on my chest and back which can be prone to spots too. Have a look at their website www.ryor.co.uk
I'd try plain old olive oil or Lush Ultrabland. Both will help balance out your skin and make it softer and healthier. I'm acne-prone and the oil in these does not make mine worse at all, only better!
I love Aveda's Gel Cleanser. It works for my oily skin.
I use Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser I love the stuff. It really makes my face feel clean.
