Question:
Origins Masks
I got the Drink Up mask today, I cleansed and exfoliated and then put it on for 15 mins. When I took it off my face felt tight and dry, sort of blotchy red! It's meant to be moisturising for dry skin!
Am I doing it wrong? I had to put loads of moisturiser on after to soothe my skin, I used Never a dull moment and Modern friction beforehand which made my skin smooth and lovely.
What have I done wrong?
:(
I haven't used that mask - I use the black one with the 'active charcoal' which is great.
BTW you had just used TWO exfoliators though so maybe that was why. Not sure but I thought you were meant to use one or the other!
I haven't used that particular mask either but as Pandoraboxes said, using two exfoliators AND a mask would be too much for your skin & cause it to have the reaction that it did. Your skin may be sensitive so perhaps next time use either a mask OR an exfoliator & not both. :)

Ooooooooh i bet youre right both of you, i thought Never A Dull Moment was just a cleanser! :o
Modern Friction is really nice. I will try the mask again some time soon- my skin probably won't need exfoliating again for a while!!!!
I also got and have fallen in love with Underwear for Lids and Underwear for Lashes, they have really soothed my sore eyes! I got the eye make up remover too but I haven't used that yet.
I am being naughty and eyeing up the Active Charcoal mask too...I already have the Boots The Sanctuary Warming Charcoal mask which is seriously lovely! :)
Do you need to put the masks on thick because I thought that might have been my problem, not putting enough on?
Thank you both lots!!! x
Origins Masks
Yes you need to put on a good thick layer.
The Never a Dull Moment is an exfoliate and uses papya(sp),which eats in a natural way of the dead skin.
Drink Up always left my skin well moisturised.
Keep your eyes open around christmas Origins bring out packs with all three masks in it and big sizes too.
