Question:
Exfoliate, Mask - which way round?
I'm never sure on this one...
Is it best to cleanse, exfoliate (so you have a better surface for the mask to penetrate) and then do a mask?
Or cleanse, do a mask and then exfoliate any remaing debris?
help...
Dont know whether this is right, but this is what I do... cleanse, put on face mask, then exfoliate, then moisturise
Thanks sparkle.
You were right the first time:) You should cleanse first, then exfoliate to get rid of the dead skin cells then apply a mask. If you do it the other way round the mask may well just sit on the skin's surface and not be as effective. HTH
Now you've said that that does make sense actually.
Have just read some good tips on origins website - apparently I'm meant to put my feet above my head too as the extra oxygen to my head will help the mask's effectiveness!
