Question:
...Thread of Shame...Mac Virgin...
I've used lot's of lovely brands but for some reason Mac has eluded me :o
I know there are a lot of Mac addicts on here - so if I was to treat myself to something on payday (:yay: ) what would you suggest I get?
I need to know what the fuss is all about.
Aw I was a MAC virgin once! I started getting a few eyeshadow shades and my collection grew from there. If you go on the mac site www.maccosmetics.com and click on live chat, a mac artist will help you choose shades for you colouring. I did this last night and now I have a big list of products I want! MAC powder blushers are fantastic. They are highly pigmented so they dont fade. They give a lovely natural colour. Let us know what you bought! Have fun!

I know how you feel Brokenfairy! I've never used MAC products before either. :) I've always wanted to but I've never been sure what to get. I don't know what it is but I'm sometimes put off by 'top-end' beauty counters because of the SA's. I always feel as though they're looking down their noses at me & are usually very pushy!
Hopefully this thread will give us both some ideas. :D

and they're always so orange and look so hideous, that puts me off straight away. I always remember going into harrods with my mum, and the creme de la mer woman cornering us, forcing my mum to try the face cream whilst the SA was spouting "It's wonderful for anti-aging, and good for maturing skin, it's nice and thick, I use it twice a day."
My mum being the wondrous put-downer that she is, came out with "It's not thick it's like shoving chip fat on my face, it's so greasy, and if it makes me look like you I'll stick with my nivea cream thanks"
