Question:
a problem since using the microplane
when i used the microplane a few weeks ago it felt great to get rid of the hard skin but since then, as the hard skin is coming back, its coming back cracked and bleeding a tiny bit. My feet are very painful when i wear my birkenstocks so do you think its either;
a) i microplaned too much hard skin
b) my birkenstocks are causing the cracked heels
or do you have any other explanation? dunno how to get them smooth without hurting my heels!
That happened to me, my heels went all sore and pink! I microplaned them away in excitement!!
You just have to leave them to heel and not wear shoes that force your heels to rub (hard to actually avoid that though).
I only use it about once a month now as opposed to every 4 days like I was before!!
I only use mine once a month. I have noticed that my Birkis dry out my feet badly. They're also the only shoes I own that I can wear day in, day out that don't cause my feet to smell. There must be a link there somewhere...
