Question:
Vitamin E users
After all the mentionss on here i went out yesterday and bought some vit E capsules from Superdrug. What strength do you all use? They had 100iu, 400iu and 800iu. I went for the 400iu as it was in the middle and on BOGOF.
Also what do you do with the rest of the capsule? I was surprised how thick it was, thought it would be very runny, and by the time i'd used enough to spread over the face and neck i'd only used less than a third of the oil. Do you keep it for the next day? I swallowed mine as i wasn't sure it would keep!
I put mine on this morning over my moisturiser (couldn't wait any longer to try it out) and my skin is feeling lovely as my new moisturiser (pure nuff stuff) is too dry for me :( Waste of £7 that was.

I've only ever used Vitamin E to get rid of scars - and it works wonders on that. How are you getting on with it? Are you using it every day or just as a mask/treat for your skin?
When I've used it for scars, I've just pricked the capsule with a pin and squeezed out how much I want onto my skin and then left the capsule somewhere, that if it leaks it won't stain (ie - untreated wood, materials) and used the rest or more of it later. But when I've used it for scars I was applying several times a day.
Oh righty, i've used it all over my face as an overnight treat. I only bought the capsules on friday so i'm not sure how often i'll use them, depends how my skin gets on. Felt lovely and smooth this morning though!
