Make Up - expensive or high street
Question:

Make Up - expensive or high street
Well, being a student, I've always been a fan of nice cheap make up, with bourjois and l'oreal getting as posh as I get really!
However, I'm now trying to use up all the cheap stuff I have (2 boxes worth!!!!) and i'm going to start buying nice make up, so my make up bag looks posh (I'm a snob really!!) bought a nice estee lauder eyeliner yesterday.
So, what I want to know is, do you blowout or budget? and IYO is posh make up worth the cash?

Answers:

I think you can definitely tell the difference in quality with some expensive products. Most cheap brand eyeshadows arent as pigmented as more expensive ones, with the exception of Prestige which are highly pigmented and only cost £4.49 in Boots. A more expensive tinted moisturiser (I use Stila) goes on better and is more pigmented than a cheaper one etc etc.
At the end of the day its about what you can afford really. I'm a brand snob but cant always afford to be!

well this is the plan, because I've always bought cheap i've got LOADS of the stuff
so my plan is to wittle it down to:
2 foundations or 1 and a tinted moisturiser
4 or 5 eyeshadows
2 eyeliners
2mascaras
2 blushers
1 highlighter
2 lippies + 1 gloss
and a decent compact
at the moment, I'm flying frequently between england and germany, and have nothing to spend my money on, so thought i'd take advantage of duty free!!!!!!
and I'm gonna invest in a brilliant set i've brushes i've found in a german shop Douglas, they're the softest i think i've EVER felt
