Question:
Mac Studio Fix or Studio Tech?
I've read back on all the threads about these two but still can't decide which one to go for.
I have olive coloured skin which has dry cheeks but oily T-zone. Which one would be better for me?
Do they last all day?
(talking about the powder foundations)
Oh and also what type of brush do people use to apply Studio Finish concealer?
Thanks
I've never tried the foundations so can't help you there but I use the MAC 217 blending brush for applying Studio Finish concealer which works really well :)
Hi
I have both -studio fix I sometimes wet a makeup sponge and apply it like that , but it can be streaky , so I use a foundation brush to even out - if i need to conceal i dab more on that area that needs it, but I always tend to use it damp-then I take some on a big blusher brush and set my make up with a light dusting all over - just use a tiny bit to avoid the caked effect
studiotech i tend to warm up on the back of my hand and use a makeup brush to apply .I apply in dots and blend....I use a prescriptives foundation brush, and any cheap big makeup brush and sponges.
I like both of them - the tech is easier to use , the fix can be fiddly at first but still a good end result.
just try the one that looks most natural for you - i have combo skin and darker skin than yours , and both are good for me!

Thank you for your replies :)
I'll try that brush then pochacco, thanks for the recommendation.
Fuzzygonstraight, thanks for the reviews on them both. I'm veering more towards studio tech now because of the ease of application. I won't have much time in the mornings once I start back at uni so anything that makes life easier is welcomed :D
Does it go cakey easily? Also does it last say a 10 hour day with a touch up at lunch?
