Question:
Argh! Spots!!
I have to say I have never really had a problem with skin, and I don't tend to flare up at all but recently I have been feeling really quite run down and I have developed a line of spots along my left jaw/neck line, plus small whiteheads above my lips. I have tried tea tree oil but this doesn't seem to be making much of a difference. They sting, and people are pointing them out.
I've not changed my beauty routine, I use Oil of Olay Sensitive cleansing lotion and likewise the same with moisturiser...however I did buy Evian wipes recently. Does anyone think this could be a reaction to Evian or is there anything I can do to generally decrease my run-down-ness? I have been ill this week too but the spotty problem developed two weeks ago and I really am wary of turning into a pepperoni face!!
It might be the evian wipes. I've found although simple wipes are gentle, I do tend to get an outbreak of spots if I use them more than 2 nights in a row. I don't think they cleanse thoroughly and they'll be leaving some sort of residue on your skin so I'd switch to a rinse off cleanser.
It could also be down to the stress as this affects your hormones, and being run-down causes this. When I get run-down I nearly always break out. Get loads of water, fresh juices and good food down you...cut out excess wheat, dairy and red meat for a while and try to eat more fish, chicken and vegetables. This will help get you back up to speed! :D
As far as putting anything on them, it might be better to leave them alone for a few days and see if they start going down on their own. If you get even more, maybe try freederm, panoxyl etc as recommended in other threads or see your GP?
Good luck, hope that helps a bit.
