Question:
Verucas
Hi, not a particularly nice thread but here goes:
I've got a veruca on the ball of my foot. Would I be better off with some sort of veruca gel, or veruca plasters to get rid of it?
Also, does the veruca make the skin around the area go hard? My other foot is fine - I file it regularly and it's smooth and soft. The foot with the veruca has a lot of hard skin around it which I can't seem to shift by filing.
Thanks :)
I have always used Wartner on both my sons stubborn verrucas and its always done the trick. Theres no fussing, no fiddling and very effective. I recommend it.
Go the to the doctors and get an appointment to get it frozen off.
Doctors use liquid Nitrogen which is about -200 degrees. There's no way Wartner could freeze a treatment that much in a container that's on sale over the counter.
I had over 30 warts frozen off when I was 15 and not one has returned:cool:
I would be dubious about filing the area around it, you run the risk of spreading the virus that causes verucas
OOO nasty little bugger veruccas are.
My Dr sent me to a chiropodist wich cost me a fortune, I had a load on my little toe and se wouldn't freeze them, aaarghhhh I went through loads of agonising weeks, trying to get rid of them, I think I just stopped going in the end.
I have heard bazuka s good, but have also heard the 'wet' side of a bananna skin can get rid of them too
Emsie
Your doctor should have sent you to the wart clinic at your local hospital. It's free!!!! My local hospital is happy to freeze them off little toes, so I don't know why the chiropodist wouldn't:confused:
Buzaka works for some people but it takes ages, and that's if it works
