Question:
Lily Lolo or Essential Minerals?
Have used samples lily lolo and LOVED it, was about to order some full sizes but have just noticed this essential minerals one (as posted on another thread)
Looks pretty much the same but I like the way their foundations come in sum-groups of glo, semmi-matte and matte
Can anyone tell me if they've tried this and which of the two your would say is better?
I think I mentioned it as I ordered the free samples set :) I've still not tried it yet :o I don't usually wear makeup and keep putting it off :D
But as it's free I would say go for it and order some to try :) The samples are nice and generous too. There's lots of good reviews on makeup alley as well.
I only paid for the postage which was around £3 to Ireland and paid with paypal. I didn't have to wait long either.
I've got light skin that flushes easily  My skin type's normal to oily so I ordered foundation in light semi matte, fair matte, fairly light matte and finishing dust and apple blusher.
I'd say the samples would last me quite a while as you don't have to use much at a time. It's hard to judge but I'd say they'd last a couple of weeks  and you've got 3 pots of foundation so they'd last a bit longer. I might be guessing wrong though not being a makeup regular :D
Just realised i put essential minerals when its actually 'evryday minerals' duh!
Wow didn't know they did FREE samples, have ordered some - only thing is the delivery cost was in dollars? That doesn't matter does it ?
Naughty! I've just ordered some. I love Lily Lolo but none of their shades are quite right for me. I tried another make and it was too thick however little I used.
So ordered some samples like you both have and also ordered some from ebay from the Mineral will work 4 you shop...
Desperate to find a shade that suits me... :)
Just ordered the free samples. Don't really know why as am happy with my Lily Lolo  Can't resist trying something new, and never did get on with the LL blushes.
Postage works out just under £2.50 for free samples fyi:cool:
