Question:
Lush's Godiva shampoo bar warning: DO NOT USE IN MAJORCA!!
I used this bar a couple of times at home and really liked it. I decided that it was perfect for use on holiday and planned to use it as my soap for everything: hair, face, body, shaving etc.
HOWEVER!
For some bizzarre reason the soap must have reacted with the majorcan water and it created the most appaling stench EVER! The smell was like a mix between cabbage and bleach. Disgusting!!
Anyhoo, the smell lingered on my hair for days. Ended up using a whole bottle of washing up liquid on my hair just to strip it of the smell.
So, I would think twice about using any of lush's products abroad for risk of this happening again.
thanks for the warning..
Whoa... I've had this with a few other products that weren't from Lush, my Dove soap made a funny smell with the water in Menorca in 2004, it was weird, makes you wonder what the hell is in the water!
Spanish water is a bit strange i've noticed.
Last year I filled the sink up with water to wash my face and the water was fizzing:confused: I hadnt put anything in the sink either, just water.
The water in majorca don't smell like what it aughta
