Question:
Back to basics........
After using Clarins face wash, toner, moisteriser and face oil for the last year, but then running out, being skint and having to go back to cheap stuff like Boots Cucumber Face wash and toner....I have realised that the expensive stuff is just the same as the cheap stuff!!!
My skin is looking fine, if not better, than when I was using the expensive brands.
I think I'm gonna keep using the Boots Cucumber face wash and has anyone been using the Boots Glycerin and Rosewater toner? I find it keeps my skin lovely and moisterised, especially if I use it before bed. :)
I used to use the glycerin & rosewater toner throughout my teens ! It was really good stuff, I was thinking yesterday that I need a new toner and you have now reminded me that I dont need to spend a fortune on one. Thanks :great:

Glad I could help. It costs literally pennies :)
I sometimes think we are fooled to easily by expensive brands. Most dermatologists say there is no difference between expensive and cheap, apart from the packaging.

Too true, too true. To be honest, I only started buying and using Clarins cos my Boots stuff looked so paltry next to my ex-housemate's Elizabeth Arden face stuff. Now, after living in Russia for four months and having a bit of a culture shock, I've realised just this. :)
