Question:
Lightened eyebrows?
When I was working out in Cyprus I had my eyebrows lightened as my hair is naturally quite fair but I have really dark eyebrows.
Anyway, now I'm back in good old England I thought I treat myself and go get it done as I'm looking a bit mismatched.. and I can't find a single salon that will do it? They will tint them darker but when I mention lightening they look at me in disgust!
I don't fancy doing them myself because I'd probably end up with orange eyebrows...
Is it just the salons near me being strange? or do people just not have their brows lightened lol?
Remy :yay:
I don't think any salons do it!
I went to one when I first got my hair lightened and they pretty much laughed me out of the salon as if I was some kind of idiot to think it was possible :o
I have done it myself once I used jolen beach to lighten them (turned them a whitish colour) then hair dye to add colour but haven't bother to do it since!
Haha that's just how I felt! Glad it wasn't just me then...
I'm too scared to bleach them myself at home... The image of me with tango orange eyebrows stops me every time...
I shall remain mismatched...
I lighten mine at home. I dip a cotton bud in abit of Sun In (the strongest one - 'super', no.3), swipe it over my eyebrows, and blast with the hair dryer. If they turn out abit orangey first time then I just do it again until it's light enough. This has been really effective for me, and my eyebrows match my hair perfectly :)
surely salons somewhere do this! Britney has been having it done for years, being a natural brunette
also remember reading somewhere that sandra bullock uses a foundation over her brows to make them lighter, which maybe a good temporary solution for you in the meantime
