Question:
white head
I've never had one before but now I have one on my cheek - well I assume that's what it is as it's white and raised.
I tried steaming it and squeezing but to no avail. How on earth do I rif myself of this beast?!
Where on your cheek is it? If it's at the top it may be milia, in which case squeezing on your own won't help. Milia's basically from using overly rich creams or such, and they'll either go away from changing products or you'll need to have it squeezed by a therapist. To be honest, whenever I've had it it's just disappeared on its own after a while, I've never needed to have it squeezed professionally.

That's interesting. Yes top of my cheek under my eye but not relaly where I'd apply eye cream.
I have been using quite a rich night cream so possibly that's to blame...
I tried putting benzoyl peroxide cream on it for a few days but nothing changed.
Hiya, yeah I get these from eye creams specifically and they're difficult to get rid of, I know I shouldn't but I do burst them myself, kinda sore and really bad for that delicate eye area but I couldn't stand the sight of them. They're gone now and I haven't got them back so happy days :-) I used to hold a really fine tipped needle in boiling water and break the tip of the white head with that and then try and squeeze the gunk out but sometimes it's really difficult. Good luck anyway, hope you nab the little bugger :)
I've had one like that before and I just left it and it went away after a while - it was there for ages though. Be careful with squeezing on such delicate skin - I've got thread veins on my cheeks from doing that.
