Question:
Animal Testing Your Thoughts...
What are your thoughts on animal testing for cosmetic purposes. We are all aware of some of the big brand companies which still test on animals, does that stop you buying from them?
Thoughts....
I used to make a point of buying Beauty without Cruelty and Body Shop stuff in the early 80s as I knew it wasn't tested on animals - these days I buy any old stuff, as I think most cosmetic testing has stopped. I'd be interested to know which companies do still test, so I can avoid them.
I think you'd be surprised how many still test on animals. Pretty sure L'oreal still do, anyone know which ones do? And does it stop you buying from them?
L'Oreal doesn't surprise me, I don't buy their stuff though. I would not buy anything that was tested on animals, as there are plenty of cruelty free alternatives. I wonder if the BUAV still do a list - I might go and check.
I'll report back if I find anything.
