Do spot marks ever fade?
Question:

Do spot marks ever fade?
Or do you have to use something on them? Would a face scrub work? I have them all over my forehead, and both sides of my jawline. They are quite apparent. I hate them. :( Any help appreciated.

I seem to remember people using Bio Oil to fade spot scars and it working really well..or possibly lavender oil but I'm not 100% sure on that one - maybe worth doing a search to see what comes up!

i used to have horrible marking/scarring on my cheek from a nasty bout of acne and i cant stress enough how good glycolic acid is for getting rid of the discolouration and for smoothing slight scarring.
if you've never used glycolic acid before get a 8/10% solution from ebay and swipe over your face at night. this is the cheapo option. :)
alternatively, i cant rave enough about jan marini's bioglycolic range, its 12.5 % glycolic acid and using the facial cleanser and the bioclear cream is the best product for getting great skin back!
now this range is pretty pricey but lasts for ages and is worth every penny! i will never use another line now as it has given me the best skin i have ever had.
if you do decide to use acid always make sure you protect your skin with as high spf sunscreen as you skin will be more sensitive to the sun.
seriously, its the best thing for my skin, last year my acne marked skin used to really depress me but after a few weeks of using this stuff my skin was so good i could actually go out without make-up without feeling self concious!

I think red marks and milder scars do fade over time. Scars in particular seem to look worse when your skin is stressed.
Make sure you exfoliate gently and regularly to stimulate the skin and also try an oil blend which is good for scars - briefly rosehip seed oil, evening primrose, thistle oil, lavender EO, but do a search and you'll get more info.
