Question:
Microdermabrasion in Liverpool
Hi guys,
I'm going to fork out for my first microdermabrasion facial but I don't know where is best (and reasonably priced!) to go in Liverpool.
Can anyone recommend anywhere either in the centre or somewhere in North Liverpool?
Cheers.
Microdermabrasion is like Crystal Clear I'm sure??
Anyhow if it is there are places on Rodney St that do it as I'm pretty sure that the girl who started CC started her clinic there.
If its any help I had a course of 10 and it did naff all for my skin.
Glycolic has been much more successful and I can do it at home !!

Thanks, I saw the advert for the Crystal Clear clinic on Rodney St but it's terribly expensive.
Is that glycolic one the L'oreal kit that you can do at home? Is it worth trying?
You are right and its really not worth it as it didn't make any difference at all to my skin.
I use a glycolic acid from the Paula's choice range and its really smoothed out and evened out my skin.
Paula's Choice website
It took time for me see an improvement about 3 months - using it once or twice a week) but I feel its much better to do it slowly than to do something really severe like a chemical peel.
Is it acne scarring which you have?
I have some acne scarring yeah, but it's not the deep and 'pockled' type scarring, more like dark scars on the skin. I could just do with rejuvinating and resurfacing the skin, to give it a little 'oomph' lol
