Question:
dermalogica recs
I'm ordering some skin stuff of beautyflash and you
always get to choose 2 free samples when you order from there so I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for dermalogica products I haven't tried.I've had the ultracalming cleanser, toner, active moist moisturiser, daily microfoliant and foundation before and I have combination skin and get spots quite often lately.Thanks. :)
Hiya, Im using dermal clay cleanser in the evenings, anti bac in the mornings, active moist moisturiser and tomorrow I think ill be buying a face scrub from them but not sure what one yet! I have combination skin too with some right stubborn spots at the moment.
I really recommend these products. They were recommended to me after my dermalogica facial. The rest of my skin is perfect now apart from these 7 bad spots! (yes, ive counted) :o
How about trying the total eye care cream or the oil control lotion (handy in this weather :))
I've heard the multivitamin power recovery masque is great too.
What's the ultra calming cleanser like? I've got similar skin to yours and sensitivity as well.
Thanks, I ordered samples of the dermal clay cleanser and the vitamin mask.I went for the clay cleanser because it said that the anti bac one was quite strong and I get quite dry cheeks so I though the clay one looked a bit kinder but should still clean my oily parts well.If I like that one I'll probably buy that as well and alternate that with the special cleansing gel which I bought.Rebelgirl, I thought the ultracalming cleanser was very good. The only reason I stopped using it is because I just don't think it was strong enough for my t zone and so it didn't really help with oiliness/spots.It certainly didn't make my skin any worse though and if it had helped with my spots I would still be using it because it really is very kind, not harsh at all and it left my skin very soft especially my cheeks which can get quite dry.I tend to get bumps under the skin on my cheeks also although never any actual spots but I found with the ultracalming cleanser that they felt alot smoother and much less congested. :)
My skin's so similar to yours :D
I get very dry cheeks well I have very dry cheeks  which I'm trying to get rid of. I also get a few bumps but no spots. The calming cleansing sounds nice maybe for winter when I'm not battling the oiliness so much ;)
Just to warn you, the clay cleanser is very tingly as it's got peppermint oil in. I did like that it was very fresh but it was just too tingly for me, even my eyes tingled  I just thought I better let you know so you know what to expect.
I do like the idea of it - a clay cleanser - but their one's a bit too strong for me. I still have some and apparently you can use it as a quick face mask too which is handy. I didn't really stick with it long enough to know if it's drying etc. I didn't notice it to be too drying. Anyway you'll be trying it soon enough and I hope it suits you :)
