Question:
Oil Control lotion
In the past i have used OC8 oil control lotion (well, a free sample) and i remember it worked quite well.
Im going to buy some at weekend, but is there anything else for about the same price (£10) that works even better?
i was considering bringing a facecloth and soap into work this morning because my face was so oily yesterday :o
I don't know if this will be much help as the products I use are both more than £10, but after years of trying virtually every oil control lotion going I've finally found ones that actually work for me:
Chanel PURETÉ IDÉALE Mattifying fluid - £31, smells gorgeous and does what it says on the tin (can buy it in bigger Boots or on their website). I wear this during the day under Lily Lolo mineral foundation, which I also thinks contributes a LOT to an oil free face.
Then at night I use Dermalogica Oil Control Lotion and my face is virtually oil free when I get up in the morning. You can get it from beautyflash.co.uk for £17.55 and this can also be worn during the day and under make-up.
Sorry if that's not much help though! :o
Try using this I bought some the other day whilst doing a 3 for 2 splurge at boots and have found it really good! Have used it through the day too to stop any oily bits, but usually would use blotting papers from Tesco.
I got a free sample of this recently:-
http://www.biore.co.uk/products/?id=243
here's a link to the sample request http://www.biore.co.uk/samplerequest/
I find it works really well, in fact I'll probably buy it when my sample tube is finished.
I've also tried OC8, and although it works ok, the smell is just awful :(
HTH, g x
Hello,
Misspiggy, your advice is helpfull but i cant realy spend that much at the moment as im trying to save up, but thanks for the recomendation. :)
If theres anything else i want from No7 then i will try the one you recomended Wild_chick_Ali, otherwise i think il go for the biore, and i might go for the biore shine-free wash aswell :)
