Question:
Help!?
I need some advise I have the most awful skin covered in spots and red marks!
My doctor gave me some cream for the spots which actually brought up forehead out in a load of tiny little lumps so he gave me tablets 2 months later I think it is helping spots wise (still have quite a few) I still have red marks and the tiny lumps!
It looks horrid and no makeup i have tried covers it (i have tried lancome, clinque, estee Lauder to name a few!)!
Any advise about both makeup and facials/treatments to help would be great!
Thanks Bex xx
Makeup wise you could try Dermablend. It'll definitely cover the marks, but I think it'll be quite heavy - not ideal for summer :(
You can buy it here : Screenface
Other than that, I'd say perservere with the tablets. If its something hormonal or medical, I'm not sure if there are any products that can help.

Hi ya bex!!
I too had you're same problem and it's only by trial and error i've found things that have helped me.
I'm on Dianette contraceptive pill for my skin and that really helps but product wise i've found nothing suits me better than Clinique 3 Step ( you either love it or hate it!!!) and i've tried loads of skincare eg. eve lom.liz earle, clarins, lancome but i always come back to this.
You can get sample 3 step from boots etc..
Make-up wise i've found the best for me is Mac Studio Finish concealer. A tiny bit dabbed on and set with a bit of powder.
And remember to keep taking your tablets and drink loads of water!!
hope i've helped!!!
:thanks:
Thanks for both your posts!
I think you are right about either loving or hating the clinque 3 steps! I tried it for about 3 months as the advisor told me it would make my skin worse before it got better but unfortunatly the worse was true but the better part never happened! It made my skin 10 times worse!
I already drink loads of water (2-3 litres a day), I have quite a healthy diet lots of fruit and veg, very little junk.
I will look into both foundations and might look into taking Dianette
Thanks Again Bex xx
