Question:
Trick to making your ips appear bigger
I dont have that big a upper lip so was going to get a lip pencil for it to look bigger
Is there a trick to doing this without it looking stupid and noticeable
Il have to look out for lip liners that kind of match my lipsticks
I think that the idea is to get a colour that matches you lips and not your lipstick really well I thinkand then just draw along the outline of your lips instead of outside the line like your making your lips bigger.I've always read basically to never use a lipliner to make them bigger by drawing them on bigger, just fill in the outline to make them appear bigger.I really like max factor lipliners and they do a really nice natural one.Alot of people have said the mac lipliner in spice is a very good shade as it's a suits everyone kind of colour.Another tip I use is I use my highlighter pen, you know like touche eclat or I really like the no7 as well which is only half the price.Anway in the middle of my top lip on the two raised parts where the lines from my nose joins my lip, I dab my highlighter pen on them and it makes them look raised and they stand out more so my top lip looks a little bigger.I always do the trick where I apply more lipgloss in the middle of my bottom lip to make it look bigger but I'm not sure if that would work for the top lip but it might.Hope this helps. :)
What about trying those lipgloss that make your lip inflate a bit ?Eg Pout Plump or Lip Venom are raved about.
I'm quite lucky I have ok lips, but sometimes have to boost them abit. I blot lipstick on,then go over with lipliner and coat of lipgloss then over again with a lipliner. This usually gives my lips abit more pout Sounds like instructions from clown school :p but all very subtle I promise !;)
I think theres a trick using a highlighter or YSL Touche Eclat, where a titchy bit is applied to the cupids bow to give an illusion of fullness.
Is that a real makeup tip, I just started doing that one day when I was messing around with my makeup.I guess it must really work for other people then. :)
Wearing a (very slightly) lighter colour on your top lip than your bottom lip makes the top lip look bigger.
