Question:
Bare Essentials Make-Up
Is it any good?
I was thingk of trying this range and wondered if it is any good, Can anyone recommend any of the products.
Thanks
I love the range, it covers my uneven skin tone really well. It may be pricey, but I think it is worth every penny. I have tried so many different foundations over the years, nothing covers quite as well.
I have the Bisque, which can be used as a concealer - great for covering scars and spots, a foundation with SPF 15, and the Mineral Veil which blots quite well when I'm looking shiny. Gradually building up light layers with the products is the key to looking like you aren't wearing any makeup.
I also have the Clear Radiance for highlighting and a beautiful eyeshadow called Radiant Rebecca. Fab stuff!
It contains bismuth I think (something like that) which can cause itchy skin so might not be suitable for sensitive skin.
I have sensitive skin, but so far it hasn't affected me. Thanks for the warning though Rosypose!
There are other mineral makeup brands that don't contain bismuth for example Everyday Minerals
It's got lots of good reviews on makeupalley and they'll also send you a free sample pack. I just got mine and the samples are really generous :)
