Question:
moisturiser for crepey skin
I have quite spotty skin, with blackheads on my nose but it is also quite dry and crepy, especially when I wrinkle my nose up, I can see all the tiny lines. It really doesn't look full or plump at the moment, and even a little dull.
I recently wnet for my first facial and bought quite a few of the Dermalogica products I was recommended so my morning routine now consists of special cleansing gel, daily microfoliant, active moist toner and skin smoothing cream as my moisturiser, but it still does not seem to be making a visible difference.
I'm 22, don't smoke and keep out of the sun, so it's not just aging.
Can anyone recommend a new moisturiser (since i am happy with the cleansers) to hydrate my skin but without blocking my pores in any way, without any mineral oil.
You could try jojoba oil very thinly at night to feed your skin so you won't rely on creams so much. It won't block pores and is one of the few oils actually good for acne/congested skin as it helps clean the pores out :)
Your skin sounds dehydrated and could do with a hydrating boost from a moisturising mask. I've got one from Decleor which is really good and makes your skin feel really comfortable. Honey is also very hydrating and you can use it as a mask. I do this in the bath sometimes as it's a bit messy :)
I'm with Becka about the jojoba oil too. It's a nice nourishing boost that will also help with the blackheads.
For a moisturiser I'd highly recommend Ren as they're lovely and light yet still moisturising. I'm using the Rose one for normal skin even though I've got combination skin as my skin gets a bit dehydrated too. I'm really happy with it and it smells gorgeous too.

I know the 'blackheads therefore no mineral oil' mantra very well :(
The moisturisers from the anti-spot ranges contain a lot of water, which dehydrates yor skin in the long run, and salicylic acid and other strong ingredients which can make your skin look flaky and dull. These are what I use (all completely oil free).....
Botanics Pore Perfecting moisturiser - for everyday when my skin's behaving reasonably well.
Clinique Moisture Surge gel - when it feels like it needs a good drink
Eucerin Oil Free for sensitive skin. I looove this, it makes my skin glow even with a matt oil free foundation on top, and makes the skin look firmer as well. However even though it has no oil of any sort (I've read the ingredients, some makes say oil free when they mean it hasn't got some particular oil) it is quite rich and it gives me a few more blackheads than I'd expect. I get round it by applying Clinique Daytime Shield first.
I'd happily recommend any of 'em!
(I keep meaning to try the jojoba oil thing, I've even bought some, but I'm so paranoid about oil near my face I'm too scared to do it  )

I have the Dermalogica 'Hydrating Gel Masque' too, but that doesn';t seem to really put much moisture into my skin either!
I have some jojoba oil, so can try that out tonight, but if I don't get much of a result I'll try some of the other suggestions too.
Thankyou.
