Question:
Clarins face sunscreen SPF 40
Hi,
Just back from a week in scorching Italy and have to recommend this sunscreen. I had an almost full bottle of Kiehl's SPF25 for the face, but discovered that it has no UVA protection and in a hurry bought this Clarins product. Tiny bottle, big price but worth every penny. I don't like to sun my face because it's so ageing and fake or bronzer do the trick, but find a lot of facial sunscreens disgusting in texture and often a bit rubbish.
On this holiday, I was out in the sun a lot. I wore a hat, too, but spent a huge amount of time in the swimming pool with my niece and without the hat. My face was so well protected and the other great thing is that the texture is very watery and not at all oily, so you don't feel slightly grubby.
And though bottle is small, I only applied about twice a day, so it should last at least one more holiday.
I agree, it's a great product, nice texture and definitely protects the face really well.
Yup - I'm another convert to this too. Having hyperpigmentation I have to wear a high factor spf so it doesn't get worse but has to be sufficiently non-icky so I can put foundation on top to disguise my skin a bit.
Me too, I love the texture of this.
I was a bit put off by the 'veil in the city' kind of idea, but I'm guessing from your responses that it works on holiday too!
That's good news!
I got this because of recommendations on here
I really like the texture, nice and light, you don't feel all greasy and it doesn't have a strong fragrance which is good.
Best of all no white streaks :yay:
