Question:
Help, tiny red lines on my cheeks !!??
A couple of weeks ago 1 or 2 appeared.
I thought it was just wind lash, But more are appearing and how there are on starting on the side of my nose.
Whats causing them ? and how do I get rid ?????
:( :( :(
Oh dear poor you :( these sound like thread veins/ spider veins - I have them too, around my nose, on my cheeks and my legs. You can have Sclerotherapy to get rid of them but they can return. From what I understand, some people are more prone to them than others, but they can be caused - and exacerbated by things like smoking, alcohol, spicy food, pregnancy, certain medication (like steroids) and sun exposure. They can also be hereditory. They also tend to occur where the skin is thinner.
I wish I could be of more help, but I don't know of any methods that actually work in getting rid of them aside from what I've mentioned above, although some people report success with vitamin K cream, that hasn't worked for me (although obviously worth a shot for you!)

I have the same problem, but I have broken blood vessels all over the top of my chest.
I have tried just about every lotion and potion but nothing has worked. I posted about this ages ago and someone suggested laser treatment which I have had a look into but think for me it will be too expensive as its quite a large area.
Maybe you could look into this?
They are horrid aren't they Crazygirl :( I seem to read quite a lot that implies they are a problem just for older women but i'm only 21 and I've had them for quite a few years - the cost of treatment is what put me off as well
Cheers Guys
I just cant believe how quick they have developed and spread. There must be something i am doing to make them worse.
Maybe its the sun bed, although i have have been going on and off for years and never over do it, why would they start now?.
My not so delicate work mate, turned to me the other day and said " are you an alcoholic, coz my uncles got that stuff on his face from being an alcoholic".
Charming :o
