does greasy skin really NEED moisturiser?
Question:

does greasy skin really NEED moisturiser?
Iv always wondered about this.I have the most greasiest skin, i always have had it, its horrible.I dont use a moisturiser though.Should i really be using one anyway?

Answers:

yes yes yes!!!!!!!!!
when you cleanse/wash your face, you strip off all the moisture from it. If you don't moisturise, it means your skin goes into overdrive to replace the missing moisture. Que loads of horrible sebum (oil) being made, meaning your left with an even oilier face!

Try using Lush Imperialis I have found this fantastic for balancing out my skin.

Crazy as it may sound, I'd actually recommend using another oil to help balance it out!
I used clarins lotus oil last year when my skin was going through a combination stage, and it really sorted it out. Lotus oil is for combination skin, but Clarins do 2 other mixed oils, one for dry and one for oily skin. It really does work!!

I always find my skin better when I moisturise - mine is also very oily. I use L'oreal pure zone moisturiser - it is supposed to delay the time it takes for your skin to re-grease. I like it, it's light and sinks in nicely.
Also at night I have been using Garnier Pure A night treatment instead of moisturiser and I like this too, it has seemed to improve my skin - my spots go twice as quick when I use this :)
Give moisturising a go for a while and see whether it improves your skin. You might find that a three step skin routine (like the L'oreal pure zone) will help your skin balance itself out - I think toning and moisturising is really beneficial for greasy skin.
Sorry for rambling, hope that helps a little bit!
