Question:
skin- dont know what to use now
hi i am currently having IPL treatment which is giving great results and i have been using samples of skinceuticals products but as they are expensive (albeit v good) i dont know what to use now.
Before IPL i used Environ which is great and i have tried to go back to environ but am getting breakouts so have stopped that brand now.
My skin is very dry at the moment and to make matters worse i am having a stressful and depressive time at work so thats making my skin worse.
Oh yes and i have been using Kinerase cleanser which is a brand recomended for use between cosmetic/laser treatments and its very gentle but it has sodium laureth sulfate in so perhaps its that which is making my skin v dry?
so I am at a crossroads and dont know what brand to try.
please can you recommend a good cleanser etc thats very gentle but at the same time wont give me breakouts?

ps - i take omega oils, vits and drink lots of water so it cant be diet related!

Hi, I use liz earle cleanse and polish and it's lovely and gentle.I have combination skin so I get dry cheeks but an oily/spotty t zone.This hasn't stopped me getting spots but I certainly doesn't cause them and made me get any more than I was before.I find that it actually must be preventing me getting more spots because whenever I have a break from it and try a new cleanser I breakout in spots and I know that every cleanser I try can't be breaking me out.I think it's just my skin and that the cleanse and polish keeps it under much better control.Also it's really good for combination skin because it's for all skintypes so while it controls oily parts it leaves dry parts lovely and soft and I never get dry skin with this.Also if you've been breaking out I would recommend decleor instant purifying mask.I think this is really good and it's good because most masks for oily skin leave my skin kind of dry but this leaves it lovely and soft and it really helps my spots and my skin just looks better after using it. :)
