Question:
Hands up who just CAN'T use fake tan..
..or is it just me? :o
I have tried so many times and with so many different products (including 'proper' tans and the gradual ones) and still my legs look like a child has had a go at colouring them in with an orange felt tip - streaky and totally uneven :mad:
I've read through most of the fake tan sticky in this forum, and have read numerous magazine articles on how to do it. I'm exfoliating, using moisturiser on knees and all the other things you're meant to do.
Could it have something to do with me using a moisturising body wash - does that stop tan adhering?
Maybe someone up there is trying to tell me I should just stay pale and interesting...
Any ideas (or just sympathy) would be appreciated...
Do you rub in circular motions?
Best to use a fake tan with a colour guide so you can see where you're putting it, if you don't do this already.
I find fake tan a huge kerfuffle myself and only do it on special occassions, but even then it isn't 100% I always seem to get dark lines where my bra strap goes, very weird!

I used to be like this, but now find it easy - I use fake bake, so can see where have gone. I follow these steps:
1) shave legs previous day
2) shower, exfoliate LOADS
3) moisturise
4) about an hour later, start to apply!
nice and easy, I swear. and as smoothie says, its essential to go in circular movements rather than just rub it in - I used to do that got horrendus streaks, but smooth it in circles and it doesn't streak at all

i want to order it online and im indian so i already have that browny skin - jus want a slight tan to even out my skin color
