Question:
What spot treatments actually work?
I have got a lovely big spot on my chin. Are there any spot treatments that anyone can recommend?
I've used various different spot treatments but the best ones I've found for reducing the size and redness of specific spots are tea tree oil (I use a roll-on thing from Boots) and soluble aspirin. The latter, especially, works wonders. For one spot dissolve one tablet in a tiny drop of water, apply to the spot for 15-20 mins and rinse off. I used to leave it on overnight but I've got lovely new pillowcases now and I don't want to mark them.
CLean & Clean Persa Gel 10% benzoyl peroxide... works the best HANDS DOWN!
Lavender Oil. It clears up any spots I have in two days! Tea tree oil is also very good.

Freederm gel really reduces the swelling/redness or further infection of a spot after I've popped it :p
As for preventing them, i'm finding Dermalogica medicated clearing gel is currently working well for me.
