Question:
Skin getting better but still need help! Spots under the Skin!
Hello Guys,
Well I am still on my quest for my "comfortable" skin zone. By this I mean, I know im not going to get perfect skin but I want to feel comfortable in my skin and not reach for the mirror every 5 mins!
I have managed to almost get rid of the spots that are visible on the skin, I still have some red spots but these are easily covered with make-up and there are only a few.
My real concern and what is making me miserable and keep on reaching for the mirror is the spots under my skin. These are SOOO bad. They are VERY obvious and if you rub my skin you can clearly feel them. They are quite large spots under the skin and when i put my make-up and its faded off during the day i look awful. If it wasnt for these spots under my skin I would look fine and feel comfortable. I really want to get rid of them. I dont know how to though as I have always had spots under my skin.
My Skin Care routine is:
Morning:
Wash Face with freederm Lotion
Wash Face with Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser
Moisturise with Dermalogica Barrier Repair
Night:
Wash Face with freederm Lotion
Last 2 nights I have scrubbed my face with Dermalogica Skin Prep Scrub
Wash Face with Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser
Moisturise with Dermalogica Barrier Repair
I have also started using a Clay face mask again which I dont think is making a difference. This Face Mask is my god send when i have spots on the skin as it reduces them but I cant see it working on the spots under the skin.
I drink water at work as well. I would guess i drink about a pint or just less a day.
PLEASE can someone help me!!!!! with the summer coming up my spots are made even more obvious when the sun shines on my face!
Please, Please can anyone recommend anything at all!
Thank you all! XxXx
i am suffering at the moment too with the large painful lumps near my nose and forehead
am using dalacin t at the mo, but my whole skin looks awful this week! god knows why!
are they like cystic spots? If so, I suffer from these!!
I think these are 99% hormonal, so really do need to be cured from the inside, out. Drinking loads and loads of water really does help flush them out - I'm not joking!
Have started taking a high dose of Evening Primrose oil, in the hope that that will cure them totally..
I really sympathise with you, I suffered from those type of spots for 4 years on my chin! I tried everything you can buy from the chemists all different types of spot stuff and facewashes. Nothing worked! Until I went to doctors and went on Dianette and antibiotics! Just finishing my course of antibiotics now and i've never seen my skin this clear! I keep looking in the mirror and feeling so good about myself!
How long have you have these spots for? If its been quite a long time then I would recommend going to the doctors if its really getting you down. I can ensure that they will find something to suit you and get rid of those nasty spots!
Hope that helps!
xx

This really isn't enough water to be drinking. I don't want to lecture you, but you really need to be drinking at least 6 pints of water a day.
I used to suffer with those horrible lumpy spots, but since I've been drinking a lot of water and taking Evening Primrose capsules they've more or less disappeared.
It's all very well cleansing your skin, but you need to cleanse your body too to make your skin really glow.
