Question:
Fake Tan and Exfoliating.........
1 Attachment(s) I've recently been applying the dove gradual fake tan and got a gorgeous colour which keeps but after a few days it starts to fades but fades streaky.by this time i need to exfoliate but if i do it takes my tan off. can anyone recomend a good way or maintaing fake tan without keep applying it till ur orange but also being able to exfoliate and shave without the tan coming off and leaving me streaky.
It goes streaky but when i try to exfoliate the whole lot off i end up with little patches of tan which just wont budge at all.

Sounds like the tan is building up on the looser dead skin cells so when you exfoliate the dead skin comes off but you still have the tan on the 'healthy' skin.
Exfoliating lightly every day should help, exfoliating in the morning and applying the tan at night for example?
I find the best way to prevent my tan coming off when shaving is to rub body lotion into your legs and then shave with a razor - no water or foam, seems to really help :)
